WELCOME TO OUR HOME IN SKIATHOS

"House on the pine hill" is our family house, that we use ourselves as a vacation house. The house is located beside a pine forest and 5 min walk from the sandy beach "Troulos" on the Greek island of "Skiathos".

Skiathos is a small picturesque island located in the northwest Aegean Sea. It is known for its astonishing sandy beaches, with clear blue calm waters and for its pine and olive tree forests. The island combines a cosmopolitan flair with traditional culture, is well suited for families, couples but also for adventurous souls. It is easy to reach by ferry or airplane.

We have lived as a family in this house and treat it with love and care. It is designed by our father, the architect Yannis Tsomos, and consists of three private apartments (for 2-6 people), each of them with its own entrance, terrace, kitchen and bathroom.

It is as a fully equipped home with wooden floors and high ceilings, walls filled with paintings and shelves with books. It is more a home than a rental. 200 m distance from the bus stop, super markets and restaurants and 300 m from the beach

A LOVELY SUMMER

“It was a very beautiful experience, the house is very well equiped, is very spacious and well lit and has a beautiful garden. I loved to go up the mountain and look at the horizon.”

A COZY VILLA IN SKIATHOS

As a family with two children we had a perfect vacation in the house. It is a real family house, where one does not feel as a tourist. The materials are high quality. Its location is perfect combining being near to a children friendly beach and being well connected to infrastructure, with restaurants and super marcets around.

A HOME AWAY
FROM HOME

“We love the architecture: our apartment is much more then a simple room, but has wooden high ceilings and wooden floors, as well, as special designed spaces - one can really enjoy breathing ”
