THE VILLA
The "House on the pine hill" is located in the greens on a small hill with 180° views on the valley and the sea. It has several balconies, yards and terraces, from where you can enjoy a rich mediterranean garden. Interiors with bright colours, elegant style and with very well selected materials and furniture. Due to its design, the house has a natural cool air flow and does not acquire the artificial cold of air-conditioning.
3 ACCOMODATION/STUDIOS
The house contains three accommodations, each of them in its own architectural type and with private entrance, kitchen, bathroom and terrace.
- accomodation A, for 2-6 people
- studio B, for 2-3 people
- studio C, for 2-4 people
The accommodations can be rented separately or together for big families and groups.

- standard equipment (towels, sheets, pillows, soap, toilet paper, etc.); fully equipped kitchen (coffee machine, water heater, fridge, stoves, plates, cooking pots, etc.); WLAN internet; warm water; private entrance; parking space; first aid box; iron, hairdryer; broom and mop and cleaning products.

Infrastructure in the area:
- 3 markets with all goods that you may need - many tavernas - small cafe/bars - a petrol station - a water sports school - bus stop in 200 m distance, that leaves every 20-30 min to town and other beaches (15-20 min ride)
Accommodation A
A beautiful accommodation, where we mainly lived as a family. It has a wide and shady terrace with a wooden garden table and armchairs, where can one spend most of the time and enjoy the view over the valley. The living room is spacious, with a high wooden ceiling and canopy. The kitchen is huge with a stove and an oven. Several paintings and artwork on the walls as well as a fireplace give it a "homy" flair. Besides the kitchen is a second living room space, that has a sofa bed for 1-2 extra persons. The bathroom is big, has a spacious shower and a mirror-wall. The main bedroom has a private balcony, as well as a huge ceiling ventilator and a closet. We consider as a second bedroom the canopy above the living room, which has a ceiling window and a air conditioning. All the beds have first class mattresses. There is room to accomodate 2 to 6 persons, if you are ok with sharing the space.
Studio B
Studio B is a sweet and cosy accomodation located at the highest level of the house. It has its own entrance, a terrace under the shade of a pine tree, with a wooden dining table, garden armchairs and view over the valley. There is an a small indoor living area and a sofa, that becomes a single bed for an extra person. The bedroom is very spacious with two single beds with high quality mattresses. It has a high ceiling with a big ventilator. It´s furniture are kept in black & white matching the big drawings of the house´s architect Yannis Tsomos. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge and a stove. The whole studio has parquet flooring. The bathroom is simple but clean with white tiles. The son of the family has spent his summers here and the daughter has spent a lot of time here writing and reading. Suited for 2-3 persons.
Studio C
Studio C is a bright open space studio with original architectural details. On its private terrace there is a dining table, garden armchairs and view to the valley. The space has two sitting areas with two sofas - one of them can become two single beds for 2 extra persons. It has a full equipped kitchenette with a fridge and electrical cooking plates. The bedroom area has a closet and a queen size bed of excellent quality (brand cocomat). The bathroom has white tiles cut in random shapes and a marble shower. The whole studio has a high ceiling, parquet flooring and is decorated with drawings of female portraits and big olive trees. A fireplace gives it a cosy feeling. As a young family of four people we used to spend our summers in here. Suited for 2-4 people, if you are ok with sharing the big space.
Troulos beach has soft golden sand and calm blue clear waters as well as pine trees reaching the sand. The waters are shallow, very well suited for kids.
In 2/3 on the beach there are installed sun-umbrellas and lounge seats, that you can rent. In 1/3 of it you can build your own umbrella. It has 2 restaurants and 2 cafes as well as a water sports school, where you can try all kinds of strange water fun-games, like "water motorbike", "wakeboard", "water tubes" and also rent a boat.

If you wish to be more private you can climb over some rocks on the right side. There are some hidden beaches, where you can even be naked and read your book in peace - we can inform you about those, when you arrive. But you don´t have to stay there, Skiathos is full of beaches. The more crowded ones you can reach by bus, the more wild ones you need a car or to be in the mood for some walking.
